How can we package in an intrinsically sustainable way? This question is the key to the KIDV-publication The State of Sustainable Packaging. During this event, we will elaborate more on the outlines of the publication and we will discuss various international sustainable packaging topics with a panel of experts.
The State of Sustainable Packaging offers a strategic perspective on the necessary collaboration and innovations with regard to sustainable packaging. The publication identifies the social and economic bottlenecks that stand in the way of sustainable packaging. The causes are diverse; consequently, there is no easy solution to be found. To tackle these bottlenecks, the KIDV has developed an international strategy with three innovation tracks that offer short-, medium- and long-term effects. These range from more and better recycling - which has already been achieved in some countries - to increased circularity and ultimately to intrinsic sustainability.
This event will follow those three innovation tracks in a structured way. Various experts will tell you more about collaboration and innovation within the tracks during an interactive round table discussion, that will be broadcasted online. Via polls and other tools, you can also participate and make your voice heard.
