This fact sheet contains information on the collection, sorting and recycling of this packaging and which sustainability aspects are involved. It explains why beverage cartons are rated 'reasonably recyclable' according to KIDV and what the bottlenecks are.
The content of the fact sheet has been agreed upon with the Dutch Packaging Waste Fund and Hedra, the Dutch industry association of beverage carton suppliers. If the development of new sorting and recycling techniques, new materials or new policies make it necessary, the fact sheet will be updated accordingly.
