Center for Research in Sustainable Packaging (CRISP)

The Center for Research in Sustainable Packaging (CRISP) is a joint venture of KIDV, the University of Twente, Utrecht University and Wageningen Food & Biobased Research. Their aim is to help companies gain more knowledge on sustainable packaging, with a focus on the circular design of packaging.

Since the research mainly focuses on enquiries from producers and importers, the packaging industry is strongly involved. The first three research projects focus on laminates, reusable packaging and the implementation of sustainable packaging in management.

In multiple articles, KIDV interviews the involved researchers (only available in Dutch).
