This calculation tool provides an overview of all stages in the supply chain for reusable packaging and gives an indication of its environmental impact compared with single-use packaging.

The calculation tool can be used to clearly illustrate where the tipping point lies for the reuse of packaging compared to single-use packaging. By selecting various options, such as the number of cycles, the transport distance and the mode of transport, it is possible to optimise the CO₂ impact and the overall costs.
