Eosta’s organic Fairtrade Cape berries are packaged in cardboard made of sugar cane waste.
As a supplier of organic (Fairtrade) fruit and vegetables, Eosta views sustainability as a priority. The company worked on the new packaging for two years together with the suppliers of the product and of the packaging material. It is made of waste material derived from sugar cane: an annually renewable raw material and, in addition, it is a waste material that would otherwise not have been used. After use, the packaging can be processed alongside recycled paper.
